Advent celebrated with the return of our choir

It was a wonderful moment to have the choir sing again, after months without live choral music. A much smaller congregation joined us but it was never the less very special as the darkened church slowly filled with light – candles throughout were lit as the choir sang Come thou, Redeemer of the Earth. Thanks to Martin, Choir Master, for managing this service despite the strange circumstances and reduced opportunities for practise. And well done to the choir for a magnificent first service. It was also the first time we have streamed – many thanks to Thomas from the Oud Katholiek Kerk for his time and skills in making this possible.

The service was led by Rev. Robert Frede and we welcomed James Pollard on organ.
